About Me

I'm a computer programmer but I love the outdoors. Here at Wernelicious, I'll highlight hiking and kayak trips mostly in the Adirondacks, projects I'm working on, and certainly my maple syrup that my family makes. I'm also into running, cooking, duck hunting and spending time with my wife, two boys and Bernese Mountain Dog Mackenzie. I live in the country and always have a lot to do.

Nerd-time: I've got over 10 years of experience in Java Programming tho my background is in the .Net languages. I love to work with MongoDB, and I've recently developed a web service using Python and Flask. I've also moved more into full-stack development using Angular and so I can put functionality on the page, but I am by no means anywhere capable of doing CSS styling.
